A seasoned leader with a diverse background spanning the military, finance, and sales, Tim Goering graduated from the U.S. Naval Academy in 1989 with a bachelor of science in oceanography and served as a Marine Corps aviator, where he logged nearly 2,000 mishap-free flight hours. After leaving the military, Tim Goering transitioned into the financial sector, holding executive roles at BNY Mellon Wealth Management, Seaside National Bank & Trust, and SunTrust Bank.
As president of MakingLuck, Inc., a Sandler Training franchise, Mr. Goering has helped businesses nationwide implement effective sales strategies, improve leadership, and foster a results-driven culture. In 2015, he was recognized as Rookie of the Year within the Sandler Training network. He is also the author of Playing the Ace: The Definitive Guide to Conflict Resolution at Work, at Home, and Everywhere Else.
Beyond his professional achievements, Mr. Goering is passionate about outdoor activities and charitable causes. In 2019, he participated in the Crossing for Cystic Fibrosis, raising awareness for families affected by the disease.
